Care providers, frontline workers, service users, and supporters from across the country will gather in London for a Day of Action to highlight the urgent funding crisis in social care.

Swindon care providers will be joining over 3,000 attendees in London to raise awareness of the growing financial pressures on care services, which are impacting local authorities, Integrated Care Systems (ICSs), and the NHS.

The action is being led by Providers Unite, a national alliance of care providers advocating for sustainable funding, workforce investment, and urgent policy change. The press release attached outlines key concerns and includes comments from Swindon care providers who will be attending the march.

In addition to the London demonstration, Swindon will be hosting a local event for people who use care services but are unable to travel to the capital.
